GUND Partnership creates transformative environments that educate, inspire and delight.

GUND Partnership is a nationally recognized architecture and planning firm working with leading institutions. We maintain a diverse national practice encompassing a broad range of building types. With 25 professionals, our staff profile is small enough to ensure principal level attention to every assignment and large enough to undertake complex and challenging projects at every scale. Our work is characterized by a highly-responsive and sensitive approach to context and a commitment to strengthening the fabric of the built environment. With each commission, we lead a rigorous process of discovery and exploration. We seek to uncover the fundamental nature of the architectural challenge at hand, and develop design solutions that are functionally responsive, strengthen community and advance our clients’ missions. In all our projects, we seek to integrate appropriate green design strategies, materials and systems that respond to the unique context of each project and provide long-term value to our clients. To date the firm has completed a total of five LEED Gold certified, 21 LEED for Homes Gold certified, nine LEED Silver certified, two LEED Certified, and one EnergyStar certified projects. Beyond LEED and other third-party verification systems, our design approach strives to reduce energy and water consumption, create healthy indoor environments, and progress our clients' overall sustainability goals.
