Fernbank Museum of Natural History
Atlanta, Georgia
The Fernbank Museum of Natural History is the largest museum of its kind in the Southeast and the first major Museum of Natural History to have been built in the United States since the turn of the century. The iconic building design reestablishes a strong image for the institution, which is located prominently outside Atlanta. The dramatic Great Hall functions as the major organizing feature for the museum and a flexible space for large receptions.
